Cyrielle Arramounet DVM MRCVS

Cyrielle has been riding horses for 30 years and always wanted to specialise in equine practice during her studies.

Soon after graduating she had the opportunity to work in Chantilly where she developed a deep interest in the Thoroughbred industry and the races. After that, she worked for different practices in the West of France and around Paris where she sharpened her skills in the diverse aspects of equine medicine.

Always curious and happy to see things from a different perspective she then spent 4 years in the UK in a racing practice in Berkshire where she gained invaluable experience in the specific management of racehorses in training.

(She has now 12 years of experience including 7 years working in thoroughbred racing yards both in France and the UK). Her main interests are lameness investigations, diagnostic imaging, sports medicine and overground endoscopic examination of the upper airways.

Outside of work, she enjoys riding or going to the races because you can never spend too much time with horses! She is also a keen salsa dancer!

Zinnia Silver BVM BVS MRCVS

Zinnia graduated from Nottingham University in 2023 prior to completing the Ambulatory Racing Internship at Donnington Grove Equine Vets in Newbury. This involved providing veterinary care for both leisure horse clients and various racing yards in and around Lambourn. Her internship enabled her to experience hospital work ups and referral cases. During her internship she took an interest in the racing work, specifically poor performance and orthopaedic work. After completing her internship Zinnia began working for YEP to continue furthering her skills and knowledge as a race horse vet. She is looking forward to getting to know the wide variety of amazing clients we have here at YEP and to further her experience of the thoroughbred racing industry.

In her spare time Zinnia enjoys rock climbing and walking in the Yorkshire countryside, exploring the Lake District and mountaineering in Scotland.
